Through the Ferris State University HVACR Program we have added a number of scholarships to assist the students with their financial needs.

The scholarships that the Chapter has solicited are from organizations affiliated with the Greater Michigan MSCA.  Current scholarships include:

GREATER MICHIGAN MSCA SCHOLARSHIP:  Award is based largely on scholastic achievement.  Active membership in the Greater MI MSCA Student Chapter will be given preferential consideration.  The applicant’s desire to work in the organized HVACR industry will also be a consideration. - $2,000 award - two scholarships of $1,000 per year.

MSCA SCHOLARSHIP:  Award is based largely on scholastic achievement.  Active membership in the Greater MI MSCA Student Chapter will be given preferential consideration.  The applicant’s desire to work in the organized HVACR industry will also be a consideration. - $2,000 award - two scholarships of $1,000 per year.

UA LOCAL UNION 190:  Award is based largely on scholastic achievement.  Active membership in the Greater MI MSCA Student Chapter will be given preferential consideration.  The applicant’s desire to work in the organized HVACR industry will also be a consideration. - $1,000 award - two scholarships of $500 per year. 
 

MICHIGAN MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP:  Award is based largely on scholastic achievement.  Active membership in the Greater MI MSCA Student Chapter will be given preferential consideration.  The applicant’s desire to work in the organized HVACR industry will also be a consideration. - $2,500 award - five scholarships of $500 per year.

MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION – MICHIGAN PIPE TRADES SCHOLARSHIP:  Award is based largely on scholastic achievement.  Active membership in the Greater MI MSCA Student Chapter will be given preferential consideration.  The applicant’s desire to work in the organized HVACR industry will also be a consideration. - $2,500 award - five scholarships of $500 per year.
