Greater Michigan and Detroit PMC/MSCA Co-Sponsor Educational Programs

The Greater Michigan PMC in cooperation with the Detroit Chapter of the PMC continues to work jointly to bring national training seminars to our members. The current programs being sponsored, Advanced Supervisory Training and Fundamentals of Project Management are part of the ever-increasing services available from the MCAA/MSCA as they work to allow local affiliates the opportunity to bring national programs into their own area, making it easier for the local contractors and their service personnel to attend. The partnership between both organizations helps in bringing the very best training available to the membership of both organizations.

John R. Koontz, MCAA's national director for project management and advanced supervisory education, was the instructor for both programs. He brings a balance of academic and practical experience to his courses. A former tenured associate professor in Purdue University's Department of Building Construction Management, he served as Purdue's Mechanical Construction Management Coordinator.
